October Wine Blog

The wine I am selecting for Octobers wine is Columbia Crest H3 Cabernet Sauvignon.  The grapes for this wine are grown in the very popular and very historic Horse Haven Hills.  What this area produces is a very rich dark fruit, currant aromas, deep berry flavors, a cocoa finish and very soft tannins.  I like this wine because it is a Cabernet Sauvignon that you can sit in front of a fire or a good movie and enjoy without having to have it with food.  This is a great everyday drinking wine for under $10.
